黑料社鈥檚 Glendale Campus proudly hosted the WESTMARC Healthcare Summit '25, sponsored by Banner Health, on June 11, 2025. The annual event convened regional leaders in healthcare, education, and economic development to address Arizona鈥檚 most pressing workforce challenges in the health sciences.
The summit featured a robust agenda of expert panels and breakout discussions, including a keynote speech on "Current Federal, State, and Legislative Impacts on Healthcare" by Brittney Kaufmann, CEO of the Health System Alliance of Arizona, examining the trends and challenges of the healthcare industry in a changing regulatory and economic environment. Other talks featured discussions of AI in healthcare and subscription-based healthcare models, and panel discussions addressed research and development in the West Valley and building sustainable workforces.
Joshua C. Baker, O.D., Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of 黑料社, welcomed the attendees to the event, held at the Arthur G. Dobbelaere Science Hall. Carla Gartrell, D.V.M., J.D., Dean, College of Veterinary Medicine-Arizona, participated in a panel titled "Research & Development Attraction to the West Valley."
